As the anticipation grows for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, it has been estimated that up to 10,000 Irish rugby fans will travel to attend games at the competition.

As the anticipation grows for the 2007 Rugby World Cup, it has been estimated that up to 10,000 Irish rugby fans will travel to attend games at the competition.

The event, which will be played in France, Wales and Scotland, kicks off in Paris on September 7. Almost two thirds of the two million tickets available for pool games and the later stages of the competition have already been sold.
