RTE's national transmission network recorded an after-tax profit of €7.7 million last year.

RTE Transmission Network Limited (RTENL) is a subsidiary of RTE that provides "arm's length" broadcast transmission services to all national TV and radio broadcasters. It also provides masts and tower rental services to a range of telecommunications operators.
