RTE's award-winning crime drama Love/Hate is popular in Scotland.

Sunday evening for many Scots over the last couple of months has meant watching rival Dublin drug gangs feuding and frolicking in RTE's award-winning crime drama Love/Hate.

But the series was screened by Scotland's largest commercial station, STV, only because it has been involved in a long and bitter feud of its own with its London overlords.

STV has declared its independence from the ITV network so that it can shape its own schedule...
