RTÉ has reported a net deficit for 2012 of €65.2 million after restructuring charges, it confirmed today when it released its 2012 annual report.

The State broadcaster said that is now on target to achieve a break-even position this year due to “substantial cost savings” from organisational restructuring. It blamed the deficit on a “once-off restructuring charge” of €46 million.
