RTÉ Director-General, Noel Curran, has announced that Primetime Investigates will not be back on air following the libelous Fr Kevin Reynolds programme.

RTÉ Director-General Noel Curran.

RTÉ Director-General, Noel Curran, has announced that Primetime Investigates will not be back on air following the libelous Fr Kevin Reynolds programme.

He also said that the managing director of news and current affairs Ed Mulhall has retired from the organisation with effect from March 2012.

Ken O’Shea confirmed that he has resigned from his post as Editor of Current Affairs. He is transferring to a new role in television, reporting to the Commissioning Editor...
