Rose tops the Olympics

The Rose of Tralee, hosted by Ray D’Arcy (right), scored well with RTE audiences, with an average of 598,000 viewers tuning in last Monday night.

This number eclipsed audiences for the Olympics. RTE Two’s coverage recorded an average viewing figure of 134,000, peaking at 168,000 for the final show from Beijing last Sunday.
