Ronan plans Waterford biotech park
Johnny Ronan of Treasury Holdings is to submit a planning application for a biotechnology park on land he grew up on in Carrick-on-Suir on the Tipperary/Waterford border.
The application is due within a few weeks for land attached to Coolnamuck House, which is owned by Ronan.
The 323-acre site is around two miles from Carrick and has 1,500 metres of river frontage.
It was zoned a special development zone last year in the Waterford County Development Plan and an area action plan is due to be submitted along with the planning application within weeks.
