Robotic puppies and flying fairies look set to top this year's Christmas toy wishlists, according to a technology-heavy ranking issued today.

Robotic puppies and flying fairies look set to top this year's Christmas toy wishlists, according to a technology-heavy ranking issued today.

The Toy Retailers Association issued the list to mark the upcoming Dublin Toy Fair at the RDS.

Traditional toys also feature, with Lego sets in demand as well as Monster High dolls, from Mattel. Four of the top ten toys cost less than €30, with the most expensive (a child's tablet) costing €140.
