Rise in profits for Hobbs financial consultancy

The financial consultancy firm owned by consumer advocate Eddie Hobbs has seen its profits jump to almost €137,000 last year from just €6,800 in 2002.

The financial consultancy firm owned by consumer advocate Eddie Hobbs has seen its profits jump to almost €137,000 last year from just €6,800 in 2002.

Financial Development & Marketing (FDM), the company Hobbs runs from his house in Co Kildare, had retained profits of €128,000 for the year ending October 31, 2004, according to accounts just filed. The firm began the year with retained losses of €8,500.
