Gardaí are investigating the theft of rhinoceros heads and horns worth an estimated €500,000 from the National Museum Archive in Swords.

Three masked men entered the building at about 10:40 pm yesterday and tied up the security man on duty before loading the rhino heads into a large white van, the Garda Press Office said.

The stolen rhinoceros heads have a total of eight horns and have probably been taken to supply the illegal trade...
