Former taoiseach Albert Reynolds is believed to have made a €34,000 settlement with the liquidator of Bula resources.

The liquidator is thought to have negotiated the settlement in respect of expenses and director fees received by Reynolds during his tenure as a non-executive director of Bula.

The former Fianna Fáil TD was required to return this money under legislation concerning expenses and/or director's fees which directors receive prior to a liquidation.
