Reynolds-founded petfood firm buys Danish rival

The Irish Times newspaper today quoted C&D chief executive Philip Reynolds as saying the enlarged company would have turnover of €320 million this year.

C&D Foods Group, the pet food company founded by former Taoiseach Albert Reynolds, has acquired a Danish firm in a deal that will make it the second largest private label operator in Europe.

The Irish Times newspaper today quoted C&D chief executive Philip Reynolds as saying the enlarged company would have turnover of €320 million this year.

The Danish company, Arovit, has production plants in Denmark, Austria, Spain and Britain.
