‘Tejas verdes' is the Spanish for ‘green gables', but this production couldn't be further from Lucy Maud Montgomery's picket-fence tale about the orphan Anne Shirley.

During the Pinochet regime in Chile, Tejas Verdes, a former seafront hotel, was reallocated and formally named Prison Camp number two of the Military Engineer's School.
