Review 2015: Take a look back at a busy year

Growth is back, unemployment is down, exchequer revenues are surging: it has been an eventful year for business

Things are looking up for Irish business. After the hard years of the bust, 2015 was marked by far more good news than bad.Big exits, takeovers and comebacks replaced receiverships, restructurings and bankruptcies. The winners outnumbered the losers in a year full of twists and turns.

The mood became more positive. The banks are still not lending as much as hoped. But other alternative capital providers have stepped into the gap to get things going.
