Revenue to carry out 400 random audits

The Revenue Commissioners intend to carry out more than 400 random audits on Irish companies and individuals this year, according to new figures.

The Revenue Commissioners intend to carry out more than 400 random audits on Irish companies and individuals this year, according to new figures.

The tax authority has identified 401caseswhere it will conduct random audits as part of its compliance programme for 2007. Of those, 148 cases have been completed to date, according to figures released by the Department of Finance.
