Wealthy taxpayers have ignored new rules aimed at forcing them to tell the Revenue about schemes to cut their tax bills. Revenue said last week that it had received no so-called ‘‘protective notices’’ from taxpayers or their advisers since new rules in this year’s Finance Act took effect.
