The Revenue Commissioners have drawn up profiles of the 250 richest people in Ireland and told their advisers how they will be audited in future, according to a draft of the Revenue's 2004 annual report.

The Revenue Commissioners have drawn up profiles of the 250 richest people in Ireland and told their advisers how they will be audited in future, according to a draft of the Revenue's 2004 annual report.

The report - obtained by The Sunday Business Post - said that the Revenue last year assessed how Ireland's wealthiest people might evade tax. It said the first areas being tackled were in “the entertainment industry, [tax] residence status and substantial disposals'‘....
