Four tax settlements totalling €609,000, published last week, were made as a result of the recent investigation by the Revenue Commissioners into the fishing industry.
The inquiry, which started out as a fact-finding mission into the industry, is expected to yield several million euro in unpaid taxes from fishermen and fish-processing companies.
