Around 900 companies have struck agreements with the Revenue Commissioners to pay tax debts in instalments due to financial difficulties.

Debts of €84million are now being paid to the Revenue in this way. Last year, the Revenue introduced its Case Decision Escalation Framework, a system to deal with the increasing number of companies struggling to pay tax debts.
