A Dundalk retailer has lodged a complaint with the Competition Authority after one of his suppliers refused to allow him to pay for products in sterling.
Brian O’Neill, who owns giftware store RQ O’Neill, said he had sought to save money by buying at the sterling price, rather than the euro price. He said he believed the company was breaching international competition law by refusing to allow him to do so.
