Department store John Lewis still has 'aspirations' to open in Dublin, despite scrapping plans to open a large store in the North over planning issues.

John Lewis and the developer of a £150 million shopping development in Sprucefield near Lisburn, Co Antrim, withdrew their application following a decision by the North's environment minister to restrict the scale of the scheme.

The department store has been linked to the planned Moore Street retail development in Dublin...
