Retail sales remain steady with small increase in November

There was no change in the volume of retail sales excluding price effects in November 2013 when compared with October 2013, according to the Central Statistics Office.

There was no change in the volume of retail sales excluding price effects in November 2013 when compared with October 2013, according to the Central Statistics Office.

In the year to the end of November the volume of retail sales increased 1.7 per cent. Excluding the motor trade, there was an increase in November over October of 1.3 per cent, while there was an increase of 1.6 per cent in the annual figure, it said.
