Research community gets a €6.5m boost

The scientific research community received a boost today with the announcement by the Government of a €6.5 million investment into 58 research projects. Read about some of the projects here.

The scientific research community received a boost today with the announcement by the Government of a €6.5 million investment into 58 research projects.

The investment is being made as part of Science Foundation Ireland’s Technology Innovation Development Award (TIDA) programme and will enable SFI-funded research groups to focus on the first steps of an applied research project which may have a commercial benefit if further developed.
