The Irish Sports Council (ISC) plans to carry out a large-scale research project to determine why some people play sports and others don't.

The Irish Sports Council (ISC) plans to carry out a large-scale research project to determine why some people play sports and some don't, in a bid to increase participation in sport among Irish people.

The sports promotion organisation is seeking the services of a research body to conduct the study, with the project expected to cost between €35,000 and €50,000.
