It would be cost-effective to introduce a mass vaccination for all 12year-old girls against cervical cancer, according to a report which will be published this week.

The report estimates that vaccinating all 12-year-old girls has the potential to prevent more than 130 cases of cervical cancer -an d 45 deaths -each year.
