A report which could clear the way for the IDA's compulsory purchase of a 40-hectare farm in Kildare next to Intel's semiconductor plant is to be concluded in coming weeks.

The report is being prepared by barrister Conleth Bradley SC following extensive hearings into the possible compulsory purchase order (CPO) of the lands at Blakestown, Co Kildare. The finished report will be presented to the IDA board, which is obliged to consider its findings but...
