The government’s investment in science, technology and innovation is to come under scrutiny in a report out next month.

The review of investment in research over the past 18 months will be the first in a series of reports examining whether the investment is leading to innovation and job creation.

The report by Science Foundation Ireland will review spending on research and development under the National Development Plan.
