A specially commissioned report into the revival of Ireland’s sugar beet industry is to be presented to the government within a month.
A group called Beet (Beet Ethanol Energy Teoranta Ireland) commissioned PM Group to carry out a feasibility study on the viability of a sugar and ethanol industry for Ireland.
The report will also be presented to Bord Bia.
