Rents rise for first time since 2008

A new report from Daft.ie shows rents have risen for the first time since early in 2008.

A new report from Daft.ie shows rents have risen for the first time since early in 2008.

Rents were up by an average of 0.2 per cent in the third quarter of 2012 to €825, which is still 25 per cent below the 2007 peak.

Cork rents were up 6.2 per cent while Dublin rents were 0.8 per cent higher. However rents were lower in Limerick, Galway and Waterford.
