Average rent nationally fell in the second quarter to €809, compared with €814 in the same quarter a year earlier, according to a new report from Daft.ie.

Average rent nationally fell in the second quarter to €809, compared with €814 in the same quarter a year earlier, according to a new report from Daft.ie.

Rents outside major cities fell by up to 3.5 per cent and rents in commuter towns to Dublin are down by 30 per cent on average in recent years, the report said.
