Renault has launched its all-electric Zoe hatchback onto the Irish market priced from €17,490. The new five-door model is sized and priced to compete with the likes of the Ford Fiesta, though Renault makes claims for considerably reduced running costs.

The Zoe, designed from the outset to be an electric car, is also claimed to have the longest range of any normal electric vehicle, at 210 kilometres on the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC), though...
