Renault Ireland hopes for hit with budget Romanian brand

Renault's budget sub-brand Dacia, which launches in Ireland today, is aiming to become one of the top ten car brands here by 2015.

Renault's budget sub-brand Dacia launches in Ireland today, with a view to becoming one of the top ten car brands here by 2015.

Dacia will initially launch with two models: the Duster, an SUV in front- and four-wheel drive formats that is priced between €13,000 and €15,000, and the Sandero, a small hatchback likened to a Renault Clio that will retail for between €6,000 and €8,000.
