Renault doubles the fun

Renault's newest cars couldn't be any more different, but they share more than just the badge on the bonnets, writes Shane O'Donoghue.

The Clio Renaultsport 200 Turbo is a driver-focused hothatch with a leather-rimmed steering wheel.

Last week, Renault launched two all-new cars into the Irish market and, on the face of it, they couldn't be any more different. At one end of the continuum is the Twizy, a tiny electric car built for two people (at a squeeze) and designed for use in and around big cities. At the other end is the Clio Renaultsport 200 Turbo, a driver-focused hot hatch with performance to rival serious sports cars.
