Five groups are expected to apply for the licence to operate Ireland’s only quasi-national religious radio station.

The AM licence, which was recently advertised by the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI), is expected to attract bids from United Christian Broadcasters, Irish Christian Broadcasters, Radio Maria, Spirit FM and Solas.
