Commercial TV and radio stations will be under increased pressure to comply with broadcasting legislation, as the regulator prepares to put detailed information on their track records into the public domain.

The Broadcasting Commission of Ireland is to create public files on all stations, which will mean that information previously only available under the Freedom of Information Act will become publicly available.
