Regulator rejects Euro 1.77bn water plan

Irish Water's plan to upgrade the water network at a cost of Euro 1.77 billion has been dismissed by the regulator because there is not enough money to pay for it. It means that some of the 380 projects in the plan, which was due to create 15,000 construction jobs, are under threat.
