Regulator approves 8.5% Bord Gáis price rise

The Commission for Energy Regulation (CER) has approved an 8.5 per cent rise in residential gas prices for Bord Gáis customers.

The increase in gas prices will take effect from 1st October and relates primarily to the fact that the value of the euro has decreased considerably against sterling.
