Regionals to be able to clock their readership data

Media planners and buyers will soon be able to access detailed readership information about the country's 53 regional newspaper titles for the first time.

Mediaforce, the national advertising sales representative for the regional press, will launch the first set of detailed readership data for this segment of the market in a bid to increase its share of ad spend. Based on the existing Joint National Readership Survey (JNRS), compiled by Lansdowne Research, the new data will give advertisers their first access to independently-compiled information on the readership of individual titles, plus information on issues such as how to target...
