Regional shortage of grade A office space is emerging
In Dublin the central business district dominates, but in other cities occupiers are opting for suburban locations, writes Donal Buckley.
Improved demand has led to increased activity in the office rental markets, not alone in Dublin, but also in Cork, Galway and Limerick.
As a result, a shortage of larger, grade A floor space is emerging in the central business districts of all regional centres.
These are among the findings of the latest DTZ Sherry FitzGerald report for the four markets. It also acknowledges that availability levels remain generally high and volatile.
