Journalists at the majority of the country’s regional newspapers are poised to go on strike after talks aimed at resolving a pension dispute collapsed.

Journalists at the majority of the country’s regional newspapers are poised to go on strike after talks aimed at resolving a pension dispute collapsed. The dispute has been referred to the Labour Court after the National Union of Journalists and employers’ representatives accused each other of refusing to engage in the talks. The court should rule on the issue next month.
