Last week, Apple brought us new iPods, gadgets for transferring films from computers to TVs, and a new film-downloading service. While there was little of interest in the new iPods, the company’s attempt to get into our living rooms has people talking.

Its film-transfer gadget is called iTV (which should spawn an interesting trademark case in the British television industry), while its film-download service will be available on its iTunes webstore.
