There is one big problem with Android tablets: apps.

Two things are killing Android tablets' chances with ordinary punters. They are Facebook and Twitter.

For the last month, I've been using Android tablets a lot more than the iPad (two in particular - Samsung's Galaxy Note 10.1 and Sony's Xperia S.)

In general, the quality and usability of these devices has come on in leaps and bounds (see reviews here next Sunday and on BusinessPost.ie). This is partly because of improvements in Google's tablet software...
