Recent figures from the KBC Bank Ireland/ESRI consumer sentiment survey show that confidence is returning in retail spending. Although just a snapshot in time, the turn in consumer sentiment is proving to be an extended pattern, suggesting that domestic spending is beginning to stabilise.
