Ratings agency Standard & Poor's has placed the ratings of the National Asset Management Agency on review, in the wake of its review of Ireland's overall rating.

The agency is placing the 'BBB+' long-term and 'A-2' short-term issuer credit ratings on NAMA on CreditWatch negative.

S&P said it expected to resolve the CreditWatch actions as soon as possible after the European summit on December 9, 2011.
