Rate of property price fall slows to 4.5%
Dublin house prices fell by 1.7 per cent in December and were also 1.7 per cent lower compared to a year earlier
The rate of decline in Irish residential property prices slowed to 4.5 per cent in 2012, latest figures from the Central Statistics Office showed.
This compares with an annual rate of decline of 5.7 per cent in November and a decline of 16.7 per cent in 2011.
Property prices fell by 0.5 per cent in the month of December after an increase of 1.1 per cent in November and a decline of 1.7 per cent in December of last year.
