Raising a glass to whiskey success

As sales of Irish whiskey soar in the US, Ireland's inaugural Whiskey Week will kick off next week in the hopes of raising awareness of one of Ireland's most successful export products.

As sales of Irish whiskey soar in the US, Ireland's inaugural Whiskey Week will kick off next week in the hopes of raising awareness at home of one of Ireland's most successful export products.

Events celebrating uisce beatha will run between May 21 and May 26 at the country's leading distilleries - Irish Distillers, Grants and Cooley Distillery - as well as in pubs and hotels across the country.
