Rae appointed Irish Independent editor

The Evening Herald editor, Stephen Rae, has been appointed editor of The Irish Independent, according to a statement from Independent News and Media.

The Evening Herald editor, Stephen Rae, has been appointed editor of The Irish Independent, according to a statement from Independent News and Media.

Rae replaces Gerry O’Regan, who was Irish Independent editor for seven years.

Rae will have full responsibility for the print and online editions of the newspaper, according to INM.
