The radio sector will be hoping for a further boost from the revised Joint National Listenership Research (JNLR) book next year, after claiming a strong revenue performance in 2004.
The Institute of Advertising Practitioners of Ireland (IAPI) estimated that the radio sector's advertising revenue was up only around 2 per cent this year, lagging behind other media.
But individual stations are reporting double-digit revenue growth for the year.
