Smells Like Teen Spirit (Phantom FM) was a lively attempt to rebottle the scent of the heady days of the 1950s Teddy Boys scene.

I recently whiled away a fascinating morning staring at a huge cache of monochrome images of old-time Dublin pubs, taken at various points between the 1920s and 1970s. The images, courtesy of the Dublin City Public Libraries website, were captivating in a historical sense, but also radiated a near-overwhelming atmosphere of drabness and mundanity.
