Daily radio listenership slipped during 2012 to 84 per cent of the population from 85 per cent in 2011, the latest JNLR/Ipsos MRBI report has shown.
On an average day, 58 per cent of Irish adults listen to local or regional radio while 45 per cent listen to a national station, marking a drop of two percentage points. The average time spend listening to radio remains high at four hours per day during the prime 7am to 7pm time.
